Saturday's Small Talk Six

Today's topic is inspired by Momdot. Every Saturday they post a question and you have to respond with 6 phrases, videos, pictures, etc.

Today's question is what 6 things do you love or hate about spring ?

1- I love the spring flowers. One of my favorite flowers is the hyacinth. I have them planted in my garden in all sorts of colours. What I love best about them is their amazing smell.

2- I hate that it is fiscal year end at work because it always means that everything is a panic in March and I often have to work long hours and complete extra work always in a rush.

3- I love spring break. Our spring break was last week and it is a nice break from chauffering my daughter around to all of her activities.

4- I love the weather. I live on the Coast and March tends to be the month when the heavy rains start to subside and we see sunshine for the first time in months.

5- I love taking out all of my spring clothes and putting away my wool sweaters. Most people don't need wool on the Coast but I do because I don't handle the cold very well.

6- I love the snow melting on the mountains. We aren't much into winter sports but love hiking and the alpine starts to open up a bit in the spring.
